“BETTER IDEAS FOR A BETTER HEATH”

¨ ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - The key to our renewed stability and strength in heath is through increased jobs.  It is absolutely critical to our city’s financial future.  Through new and creative ways, my primary goal will be to help attract the jobs of the 21st Century to Heath.

¨ BUDGET PRIORITIES - As mayor, I will review the city’s budget carefully to look at every program and service being funded.  Fiscally-responsible spending should be prioritizied toward Heath’s economic growth and providing the services we all expect of city government..

¨ STRENGTHEN SAFETY FORCES - Heath’s Police and Fire departments are no longer staffed to their allocated strengths.  The department chiefs are concerned about this, and we all should share their concern.  I will work to address this concern through better prioritization of the city’s revenue.

¨ COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT - The residents of Heath deserve a more open and transparent city government.  I will better communicate city government’s business with our residents, focused on when it is more convenient for YOU, not me.  I also will work toward having City Council meetings available via Cable TV and/or the internet.
